ABOUT ANATEK-EP

Anatek-EP, located in Portland, Maine was founded in 1985 as a contract protein research laboratory utilizing electrophoretic techniques, mainly 2 Dimensional Electrophoresis. In 2004, the company switched its focus from running 2D gels to computer analysis of gel images using Proteomweaver software from the Definiens Corporation in Munich, Germany. The experience and expertise we aquired with over 18 years of work in running 2D gels provided us with the neccessary skillsets to attain optimum results from this sophisticated, gel analysis package. The information generated from the gel analysis makes 2D electrophoresis a powerful tool.
